ITALIAN VERSION
1. Subject Matter and Acceptance
Access to the facilities is permitted ONLY to persons in possession of a valid ticket/season ticket and AFTER SIGNING a liability waiver .
Use of the services implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, safety rules, and internal regulations.
2. Definitions
Gym/Facility: MoveLab Climbing gyms in Bressanone and Treviso-Silea.
User/Customer: any person who accesses the facilities.
Minor: a person under the age of 18.
Release form: risk assumption document signed before access.
EN 12572: European standard for artificial climbing structures.
3. Registration and Identification
3.1 Photography for Access Control
When you subscribe, a personal photograph is taken and used EXCLUSIVELY for access control purposes, to ensure security and prevent unauthorized use. The photo is stored for the duration of the subscription and then deleted. Compliant with GDPR (EU 2016/679).
3.2 Emergency contact MANDATORY
Every user is REQUIRED to provide a valid emergency contact (full name + telephone number) who can be contacted in the event of an accident.
3.3 Rules for minors
• Minors under 18 years of age: release form signed by parent/guardian.
• Children under 14: access ONLY if accompanied by an adult.
• Minors aged 14-18: unaccompanied access possible with parental consent.
4. Declaration of Physical Fitness
By signing the release form, the User declares that:
• Be in good health and fit for climbing.
• NOT suffer from: heart disease, hypertension, epilepsy, serious respiratory conditions, balance disorders, serious joint problems.
• Do not be pregnant (women).
• Do not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or mind-altering medications.
• Not having suffered any serious injuries/surgeries in the last 6 months.
MoveLab reserves the right to deny access to anyone who appears unsuitable.
5. Compliance with EN 12572
The structures comply with European standard EN 12572. Regular maintenance guaranteed.
The staff does NOT verify the technical abilities of users. It is the sole responsibility of the user to assess their own abilities.
6. Mandatory Safety Rules
6.1 Required Knowledge
• Understanding climbing risks.
• Technical knowledge for climbing safely.
• Correct use of safety devices.
• Rope maneuvers and partner belaying.
6.2 Mandatory Technical Standards
• Partner check MANDATORY: check knot, device, carabiner closed, harness correct.
• Direct connection: rope connected directly to the harness WITHOUT a carabiner.
• All safety measures: attach ALL the belays.
• Top deviation: hook BOTH carabiners.
• Bouldering: SOLO in designated areas with mats.
6.3 Rules of Conduct
• PROHIBITED: walking under climbers.
• Safety distances (minimum 2 m).
• Follow instructions carefully.
• Climbing shoes (no street shoes/bare feet).
• Empty your pockets (cell phone, keys).
• Remove jewelry.
• Report damage/malfunctions immediately.
• DO NOT modify/remove sockets or safety devices.
6.4 Height Restrictions for Minors
Mandatory height restrictions:
• Minori <12 anni: max 3,0 metri.
• Minors aged 12-14: max. 3.5 meters.
• Minors aged 14-18: no restrictions, but supervision required.
7. Autobelay devices - Special regulations
⚠️ DANGER OF DEATH ⚠️
7.1 Introduction
Autobelays present an EXTREMELY HIGH RISK of fatal accidents. In recent years, there have been MULTIPLE DEATHS caused by:
• Failure to engage (main cause of death).
• Incorrect coupling.
• Exceeding weight limits.
• Distraction and routine.
7.2 Divieto Assoluto <12 Anni
Autobelay ASSOLUTAMENTE VIETATO per minori <12 anni. NESSUNA ECCEZIONE.
7.3 Requirements for minors aged 12-17
Autobelay for minors aged 12-17 ONLY if:
• Specific release form signed by parent.
• Personal training for minors and parents.
• Weight 20-150 kg.
• Parents supervise EVERY use.
• Parents should check the attachment before each climb.
7.4 Adult Requirements (18+)
• Separate specific release for Autobelay.
• Mandatory personal training by staff.
• Weight 20-150 kg.
• Use without training is prohibited.
7.5 Mandatory Procedure
BEFORE EVERY CLIMB:
1. Visual inspection of the device.
2. Attach to the center point of the harness.
3. Check that the carabiner is closed and locked.
4. MANDATORY FUNCTIONAL TEST: lift your feet off the ground before climbing. ⚠️ THIS TEST CAN SAVE YOUR LIFE.
5. Corda in front of the body.
6. Do not cross.
7. Controlled descent.
8. Immediate release after landing.
7.6 Absolute Prohibitions Autobelay
STRICTLY PROHIBITED:
• Use without personal training.
• Use under the influence of alcohol/drugs/medication.
• Simultaneous use of autobelay + manual belay.
• Two people on an autobelay.
• Use with visible defects.
• Functional jump test.
• Hooking onto the wrong loops.
• Use outside weight limits (20-150 kg).
• Access to the drop zone when in use.
Violation = immediate expulsion and permanent ban without refund.
7.7 Separate Mandatory Disclaimer
Autobelay requires a SEPARATE AND SPECIFIC WAIVER documenting training and acceptance of risks of death. Without this waiver, use is PROHIBITED.
8. Risks and Limitation of Liability
Climbing = HIGH RISK activity. Use at your own risk.
Recognized risks:
• Falls with serious injuries: fractures, head trauma, spinal injuries.
• Risk of death.
• Chronic joint injuries.
• Risks from improper use of equipment.
• Risks arising from the behavior of other users.
• In extreme cases: permanent disability or death.
Mattresses do NOT eliminate the risk.
By signing, the User voluntarily assumes ALL risks and releases MoveLab from any liability.
Exception: This does not apply in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of MoveLab (Art. 1229 of the Italian Civil Code).
8.1 Specific Limitations
MoveLab is not responsible for:
• Accidents caused by technical errors/inexperience/negligence on the part of the user.
• Accidents caused by violation of safety rules.
• Accidents due to failure to check or incorrect partner check.
• Accidents caused by the use of personal equipment.
• Injuries due to pre-existing physical conditions.
• Loss/theft of personal belongings (including lockers).
• Malfunctions/closures for maintenance/force majeure.
• Illegal acts by third parties.
8.2 Insurance
MoveLab maintains RCT insurance for damage caused by structural defects with intent/gross negligence.
IMPORTANT: MoveLab does NOT provide individual user coverage. We STRONGLY recommend taking out a personal sports accident insurance policy with adequate coverage (minimum €100,000 recommended). Without insurance, rescue/treatment costs (tens of thousands of euros) will be borne by the user.
8.3 Emergency Authorization
In an emergency, the user authorizes MoveLab to:
• Contact emergency contact.
• Call 118.
• Authorize necessary medical treatment.
All rescue/transport/treatment costs are the sole responsibility of the user.
9. Personal Property
MoveLab is not liable for loss/theft/damage to personal belongings.
10. Closures and Changes
MoveLab reserves the right to close partially or completely for maintenance or events without prior notice. No refunds will be given.
11. Changes to the Terms and Conditions
MoveLab may modify these T&Cs. Modifications published on www.movelab-climbing.it will take effect after 30 days.
12. Law and Jurisdiction
Italian law. Jurisdiction: Bolzano (Bressanone) or Treviso (Silea) courts, except for consumer protection.

3. Health Declaration
By signing, the user declares:
• Good health, suitable for climbing.
• NO heart disease, hypertension, epilepsy, respiratory issues, balance disorders, joint problems.
• NOT pregnant.
• NOT under influence.
• No serious injuries/surgeries in the last 6 months.
4. EN 12572 compliance
Facilities comply with European Standard EN 12572. Staff does NOT verify technical abilities. User's sole responsibility.
5. Mandatory Safety Rules
5.1 Required Knowledge
• Understanding climbing risks.
• Technical proficiency.
• Correct use of belay devices.
• Proper rope handling.
5.2 Technical Rules
• Partner check MANDATORY: verify knot, device, locked carabiner, harness.
• Direct Connection: rope tied directly to harness WITHOUT carabiner.
• Use ALL quickdraws.
• Clip BOTH carabiners at the top.
• Boulder ONLY in designated areas.
5.3 Height Restrictions for Minors
• Under 12: max 3.0m
• 12-14: max 3.5 m
• 14-18: no limit but supervision required
6. Autobelay Devices - Special Regulation
⚠️ LIFE-THREATENING DANGER ⚠️
6.1 Premise
Autobelay presents an EXTREMELY HIGH RISK of fatal accidents. MULTIPLE DEATHS worldwide caused by:
• Forgetting to clip in (leading cause of death).
• Incorrect clipping.
• Weight violations.
• Distraction.
6.2 Absolute ban under 12
Autobelay ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED for minors <12. NO EXCEPTIONS.
6.3 Requirements for minors aged 12–17
Autobelay for 12-17 ONLY if:
• Separate waiver signed by parent.
• Both the minor AND the parent received personal training.
• Weight 44-330 lbs.
• Parents supervise EVERY use.
• Parent verifies clipping before each climb.
6.4 Requirements for Adults
• Separate autobelay waiver.
• Mandatory personal training from staff.
• Weight 44-330 lbs.
• Use WITHOUT training is PROHIBITED.
6.5 Mandatory Procedure
BEFORE EVERY CLIMB:
1. Visual device inspection.
2. Clip to the central belay loop.
3. Check that the carabiner is closed AND locked.
4. FUNCTIONAL TEST MANDATORY: lift feet off ground before climbing. ⚠️ THIS TEST CAN SAVE YOUR LIFE.
5. Rope in front of body.
6. No traversing.
7. Controlled descent.
8. Immediate unclipping.
6.6 Absolute prohibitions
STRICTLY PROHIBITED:
• Use without personal training.
• Use under the influence.
• Simultaneous auto belay + manual belay.
• Two people on one autobelay.
• Skipping functional test.
• Clipping to incorrect loops.
• Use outside weight limits.
Violation = immediate expulsion and permanent ban without refund.
6.7 Separate Waiver Required
Autobelay requires a SEPARATE SPECIFIC WAIVER. Without it, use is PROHIBITED.
7. Risk Recognition and Liability
Climbing = HIGH-RISK sport. Use at your own risk.
Recognized risks:
• Causing serious injuries: fractures, head trauma, spinal injuries.
• Risk of death.
• Chronic joint damage.
• In extreme cases: permanent disability or death.
Crash pads do NOT eliminate risk.
By signing, the user voluntarily assumes ALL risks and releases MoveLab from all liability, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
7.1 Insurance
IMPORTANT: MoveLab does NOT provide individual user insurance. All Users STRONGLY ADVISED to obtain personal sports injury insurance (recommended min. $100,000). Without insurance, rescue/medical costs (tens of thousands of dollars) borne entirely by User.
8. Applicable Law
Italian law. Jurisdiction: Court of Bolzano or Court of Treviso, except for mandatory consumer protection.
